My name is Pedro Pacheco, I was born in Lagos, Portugal and finished my degree in cinema at ESTC with a specialisation in Cinematography and I'm seeking opportunities in the image department. I'm passionate about creating visually compelling and impactful storytelling on screen.
In 2017, I began my journey in the world of cinema by joining a two-year course in Directing, Film and TV. In search of an even greater deepening in the area, in 2021, I've started a Degree in Cinema, with a focus on cinematography, where I am currently.
Over the years, I have accumulated a vast experience, participating in several projects, such as documentary, stop motion and fiction, playing roles as Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Assistant Camera and as a Gaffer. Among some recent projects, I've been playing the role of Director of Photography. In 2022, in the short film "Amarrada". The project has been selected to participate in several festivals, both nationally and internationally. In 2021, I had the opportunity to work on my first stop motion. In 2019, in the short film, "A Viagem", in which I was nominated for the award of best student director of photography, by the Associação de Imagem Portuguesa (AIP).
